The last lecture in the series: "New version of How to read a mammogram" is dealing with one of the most difficult breast cancer subtypes accounting for about 5-8% of all malignant breast lesions. The diffusely infiltrating breast malignancy of mesenchymal origin is a real perception problem for the radiologist even when it measures 5-8 cm in extent. In addition, there are no associated microcalcifications in this breast cancer subgroup, making the detection even more difficult. Unfortunately, the fatality rate is high among these patients since they are stem cell carcinomas, resistant to modern therapeutic regimens.
