Advanced calcification analysis lectures
These carefully chosen, fully worked-up cases cover the full spectrum of malignant-type calcifications seen at mammography. You will be shown how to find subtle and faint calcifications, learn to recognize malignancy by the distribution of the calcifications, even when the individual calcifications appear benign. Using the multimodality approach to benefit from the strengths of magnification mammography, ultrasound and MRI, the imaging findings will be correlated in every case with large format thin section (and often also thick section) histopathology images to show the true structure of the malignancies we see at imaging. Every case also has illustrated teaching points for reviewing the major findings and commenting on the appropriateness of the chosen therapy. These lectures will give you improved skills in perception and diagnosis and greater confidence when communicating your findings to your pathologists and surgeons.
